Jami is a London-based mental health charity, focussed on recovery – moving from lack of control and autonomy to becoming an active member of the community.
As a small charity, Jami required an awareness campaign to increase the visibility of their services. Their budget was small, so how could we get their message to as many people as possible? I came up with the idea of postcard stands – to be left in public places, shops and cafes – free for people to take. I designed an array of different postcards, in different styles, to appeal to a variety of people. Every postcard had a positive mental health message. The campaign was hugely successful, extending to vehicle signage, posters and an email campaign.
