Heineken is the second largest brewer in the world. Founded in 1864, they now own over 165 breweries in more than 70 countries. They produce 250 international, regional, local and speciality beers and ciders and employ approximately 73,000 people.
Heineken wanted a way to engage with pubs and their customers around the UK, starting with the West Country. Enter, the Big Scrumdown! With a film crew, we shot members of the Exeter Chiefs rugby team asking quiz questions and competing in some fun challenges. I then edited the footage to create the Heineken Big Scrumdown quiz. This was packaged into a kit to be purchased by the fan pubs in the area, who played the quiz for their customers to take part in. I also designed promotional materials including posters, tent cards, banners, sales materials and social media content, to be included in the kit. The quiz was a huge success with thousands of kits being purchased, and several other rugby and football teams set to be filmed next.
