Strongbow is the world’s leading cider with a 15% share of the global cider market.
Strongbow wanted to own Halloween, and become the occasion’s drink of choice for 18 – 34 year olds. They needed a campaign to allow pubs and bars to buy into the Strongbow halloween experience. Introducing – The Haunted. I designed a look and feel reminiscent of supernatural horror films, with a haunted girl featuring as the main character. I designed materials to allow publicans to haunt their venues – from tent cards and back bar card holders, to bunting, drip mats, font wobblers, and lenticular posters. I also created social media video content so landlords could promote their venues and drum-up excitement before the occasion. I also created wet-reveal competition cards, that spookily revealed their prize when dampened with a wet glass of Strongbow. 11 pubs became flagship venues and received the full Haunted treatment, with the Haunted girl coming to life to spook customers.
Pubs went crazy for The Haunted, with 10,500 pubs taking part, and punters receiving 6,358 prizes.
