Belvoir Cordials create handmade drinks, by pressing fresh fruit and infusing flowers to mix with spring water. Nestled in the idyllic Vale of Belvoir in the English countryside, they have been making boutique fruit cordials and pressés since 1984.
Belvoir wanted to create a buzz and increase sales on their already popular pressés. They pride themselves on using natural ingredients, grown on their farm, to create their lovely products. And none of this would be possible without our beloved bees. I created an on-bottle promotion that allowed customers to win fabulous prizes, while helping bees as well. I designed a bee using letters from the bespoke Belvoir typeface that is synonymous with their packaging. This bee was featured on a neck collar to give standout on shelf. Customers could enter their code online, where their bee would be ‘released’ to fly around the internet and choose them a prize. 36,575 codes were entered, and penetration grew by 41%. And to top it off, Belvoir donated a whopping £5,000 to the British Beekeepers Association.
